<p>The workbench is partic. for assembly of a number of components into a larger unit. It has supports and clamps for the main component of the assembly mounted on a vertical telescopic column which can be extended and locked in various positions (2), to suit a seated or standing operator. The supports and clamps can also be tilted on a horizontal axis (10) and locked in various angular positions, to allow the assembly unit to be reached from different sides or angles. The supports and clamps (1) can be mounted on an angle-piece (16), in turn fixed to the column, instead of directly on the column itself. This allows the assembly unit to be locked both in very low and very high positions.</p> |
