摘要 PURPOSE:To aim at improvements in fuel consumption, by making a compression ratio in a gasoline engine larger than the extent of 8.0, while controlling it so as to be the larger in engine load the later in ignition timing. CONSTITUTION:In case of a small two-cycle gasoline engine, its compression ratio is set to more than 8.0, for example, 8.9 or so, and ignition timing is controlled in accordance with engine load. That is to say, a crank angle signal out of a pulser coil is inputted into a terminal 41 and in time of low loading such as idling or the like, partial pressure of voltage out of the pulser coil is higher than the output of a throttle valve opening sensor 32 consisting of a potentiometer so that a PUT44 is turned to ON by such output as in a white arrow A passed through a comparator 43. And, when throttle valve opening grows large and the output of the sensor 32 becomes larger than the said partial pressure, the PUT44 is turned to ON by such an output flowing as in a black arrow B, thereby making the ignition timing so as to be delayed.
