AIR-CLEANER FOR INTERNAL-COMBUSTION ENGINE CONTAINING CONTROLLER BOX

摘要

PURPOSE:To cool a controller box by means of air sucked through air-cleaner and a cooling fan by arranging a controller box and a cooling fan in a void of a tubular air-cleaner case having an axial flow filter element. CONSTITUTION:An upper tubular case 3 having an outlet pipe 2 at the closed end and a lower tubular case 5 having enclosed lower end face and an inlet pipe 4 at the side are coupled through plural clips 6 to form a casing 7. Tubular honeycomb filter element 8 is arranged in the casing 7 while a void 10 for widening the air flow to the entire face is provided near the end face 8a at the upstream side. A controller box 11 is arranged through a supporting tool 12 approximately in the center of said void 10 while a cooling fan 14 is arranged near to the side wall and an opening 15 provided with a damper 16 is made through the side wall of lower casing at the rear face.
