The invention refers to a method for introducing air for combustion into a stationary fuel driven hot gas generator. The air is first pre-heated in a combustion room (1) or a nearby pre-heater (9) and moved thereafter to the combustion room (1) in the form of primary and/or secondary air. The invention is characterized by the fact that at a highest specified heat from the generator, that for complete combustion of fuel, the required amount of air is supplied as primary air. The reduction of the given heat affects the amount of primary air that is reduced and it is then supplied in the form of secondary air of which the amount increased corresponds to the amount of primary air reduced. Secondary air is further supplied in the vicinity of the pre-heater (9) so that this is cooled by the secondary air.<IMAGE> |
