PURPOSE:To enhance adhesion to a conductive substrate by using a UV hardenable resin as a binder resin in an electrostatic charge generating layer in an electrophotographic sensitive body having the charge generating layer composed of a charge generating material and the binder resin. CONSTITUTION:An objective electrophotographic sensitive body is obtained by mixing a radically polymerizable oligomer, e.g., epoxyacrylate, a photopolymerizable unifunctional monomer, e.g., 2-hydroxypropyl acrylate, a multifunctional monomer, e.g., ethylene glycol polyacrylate, and a photopolymn. initiator, e.g., benzophenone, etc., forming a 0.5-2mum thick charge generating layer composed of this UV-hardenable binder resin thus prepared, and a charge generating material, e.g., alpha-type metal-free phthalocyanine, on a conductive substrate, and then, forming a charge transfer layer composed of a charge transfer material, e.g., a compd. of the formula, and a thermoplastic resin.
