PURPOSE:To compensate the strength of an inner-tank anchor bolt against an extractive load due to an earthquake or the like, by arranging a tie-rod between an anchor seat in the external surface of an inner-tank side plate and an outer- tank side plate. CONSTITUTION:A double-shell type low-temperature tank above the ground pivotally mounts to its anchor seat 11, mounting an inner-tank anchor bolt 12 in the external surface of an inner-tank side plate 7, an arm 13 by a pin 14 while, to a bracket 15 in the internal surface of an outer-tank side plate 4 and to the arm 13 on the anchor seat 11, respectively both ends of a tie-rod 16 by pins 17, 18, setting the tie-rod 16 to be left in a length as adjusted by rotating a turnbuckle 19. When the inner-tank side plate 7 tends to be lifted by generating tumbling moment in an inner tank due to occurrence of an earthquake, the inner-tank anchor bolt 12 resists against this tumbling moment, but the anchor bolt can resist against an extractive load by causing the tie-rod 16 to further transmit a load, applied to the inner tank, to an outer tank to be supported by the outer tank. |
