PURPOSE:To increase thrust and enhance efficiency, by a method wherein salient poles with specified width are formed on the upper and lower surfaces of a core, and wherein the upper and lower surfaces are wound up with armature coils to form an armature, and wherein field magnets are arranged on the upper and lower surfaces by confronting together. CONSTITUTION:The grooves 12, 13 for inserting armature coils are formed at equal intervals, roughly vertically to the running direction of field magnets 5-1, 5-2, so that salient poles 10 may be formed on the upper and lower surfaces of a long-plate-formed core 9. When the magnetic pole width of the field magnets 5-1, 5-2 is determined to be T, then the width of the grooves 12, 13 for inserting armature coils is formed to be T by the open angle confronting the field magnets 5-1, 5-2 of the salient poles 10, 11. Armature coils 14, 15 are provided by turn-winding up the base section of the salient poles 10 with a plurality of conductors. The field magnets 5-1, 5-2 are provided with the alternately arranged poles N, S of the open angle degree of the pole width T. |
