PURPOSE:To prevent precisely a sheet from floating after transfer of a picture formed on an image carrier by forming a regulating means for regulating the floating of the sheet after the transfer. CONSTITUTION:Under the state that a process unit is positioned on a prescribed position in the device body, a cover is located on a shunted position from a transfer opening. The other end of a pivotal paper removing roller 40 is located on a working position on the lower part of a cleaner 14 by a wire 41 pivotally supported by a cylindrical bent part 42a of a fitting 42. A spring 43 is hung between the wire 41 and the bottom part 14e of the cleaner 14 and the wire 41 is excited by the spring force in the direction of a stopper part 42b of the fitting 42 and abutted on the stopper part 42b so as to be regulated. At the position, the paper removing roller 40 prevents the paper immediatedly after separation from overfloating, so that the paper can be properly carried.
