PURPOSE:To prevent a floating toner from sticking to fixing roll and to obtain copies stabilizing their image quality for a long period by applying a cover to the periphery of the fixing roll along its longitudinal direction and forming a hollow part in the cover to arranged toner suction holes and a discharge hole. CONSTITUTION:The cover 7 having a U-shaped sectional area is applied to the periphery of the fixing roll 5 along its longitudinal direction. The cylindrical hollow part 17 is formed on the front 13 side of the cover 7, plural toner suction holes 18 and one discharging hole 19 are formed on the hollow part 17 and the hollow part 17 is connected to a suction device. Consequently, floating toner existing in the cover 7 is sucked from the suction holes 18 and discharged from the discharge hole 19 and is not adhered to the fixing roll 5, so that copies stabilizing their image quality can be obtained for a long period.
