PURPOSE:To prevent brightness of color from being decreased by setting the total number of dots formed in one picture element of mixed colors equal to the number of dots formed in one picture element with a single color when a density of a single color to express with one basic color is the same as a density to be expressed with mixed colors due to mixture of plural basic colors. CONSTITUTION:The figure (a) shows a recording mode when one single color of basic colors is expressed with three levels such as (1), 1/2 (0), and the figure (b) shows a recording mode when bright basic colors Y and C are mixed. The total number of dots of mixed colors in case of a density level (1) is equal to the dot number of one basic color in case of a density level (1). In case of a density level 1/2, the above can be mentioned. Therefore an opacifying rate of dots in one picture element is the same as the case of mixed colors and one basic color and a density will not change to the eye. Deflection of paper will not occur which takes place when ink, etc., are used as a recording dot. Moreover a decrease in brightness of color will not occur because an overlap of recording dots is avoided in case of mixed colors. |
