PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform continuous printing without performing the movement of a cursor, by counting the number of characters contained in a part of document information subjected to printing processing and renewing the memory content of an indication position storing and indicating means corresponding to the number of characters. CONSTITUTION:CPU7 performs printing on and after the positions in a document indicated by a cursor, for example, one page according to the program of ROM8 by the input of a printing key and allows a cursor register 11 to step only over the number of characters, which are processed in a printing process, in the document stored in document memory 10 to wate key input. In the next step, when the printing key is again pushed, a cursor indicates the character next to the printed final character and, therefore, continuous printing is performed without moving the cursor. As a result, printing can be continuously performed from the character next to the printed final character by merely down the printing key again without performing the movement of the cursor and operability is enhanced. |
