PURPOSE:To simplify structurally an infrared ray sensor cell by providing a contour body in which an infrared ray transmitting window is opened, an infrared ray transmitting window material closing the transmitting window and, the first and second infrared ray shielding materials. CONSTITUTION:A cap (contour body) 13 wherein the infrared ray transmitting window 13a is opened at the top part and the infrared ray transmitting window material 11 closing the transmitting window are provided, and plural linear light shielding parts 11a are provided along this one surface. On the other hand, opposing to the material 11, a pyroelectric film 15 is arranged at the underside almost parallelly thereto, and plural light shielding parts 12a extending to a direction parallel to the parts 11a are provided at the surface side opposed to the material 11. By such a constitution, the infrared ray sensor having simple structure can be obtained by reciprocating vibrations of the pyroelectric film though the detecting efficiency is improved by incorporating a chopper.
