PURPOSE:To provide the titled granule, capable of administering orally to dairy cattle, and effective to improve the productivity of the dairy cattle. CONSTITUTION:Powdery tryptophan containing tryptophan is granulated with a mixer granulator, dried under reduced pressure at normal temperature, and sieved to collect the granules having diameter of 0.8-1.2mm.. The granules are coated with a coating liquid comprising methylene chloride and a coating agent composed of 2-vinylpyridine/styrene copolymer and cellulose acetobutyrate using a centrifugal coating machine. The obtained granular tryptophan passes through the rumen of cattle without decomposition, and exhibits its activity in the abomasum or intestine to increase the productivity of milk. It is useful not only to the increase in the milk production of dairy cattle but also to the promotion of the growth of other ruminants. |
