PURPOSE:To enable the high-speed winding of a fiber to a well-shaped package, suppressing the internal strain of the fiber, by placing godet rolls between the drawing roll and the winding roll, and winding the fiber while taking up under a specific condition. CONSTITUTION:A polyamide fiber is intertwined with air by the intertwining apparatus 4, drawn between the take-up roll 5 and the hot drawing roll 6 at a ratio of <=2.5, heat-treated, and relaxed with the relaxation rolls 9, 10. The relaxed fiber is wound at a rate of >=4,000m/min to obtain the wound package 7. The surface temperature of the drawing roll is adjusted to Tg+50-Tm- 10(C<0>). The spun fiber is wound <1 turn around each roll, and the circumferential speed of each relaxation roll is decreased successively to effect the relaxation treatment at a relaxation ratio of 0.1-7%.
