PURPOSE:To attain to increase a printing speed to a large extent, by detecting density at every one line and controlling a printing speed at every one line corresponding to said density. CONSTITUTION:The density of an image to be recorded at every one line is detected by a density detecting means 202 at every one line as applying voltage, for example, to a recording head 201 and an accelerated speed is controlled corresponding to the density at every one line by a printing speed control means 203. Concretely, for example, the time interval at the time of the step feed of the recording head 201 and a time interval for supplying a trigger signal for applying driving voltage to said head 201 are controlled. By this method, a printing speed, which was suppressed to a low speed uniformly by the max. density in an entire picture or max. density predetermined from the aspect of planning in a conventional apparatus, can be increased to a large extent. |
