PURPOSE:To make a walking sensor small-sized, and to realize a low power consumption by installing a pair of electrodes between two points on the human body, and amplifying and counting its induced voltage. CONSTITUTION:Two electrodes 16a, 16b are provided separately on the rear side of a wrist watch body 18. In this state, a signal from each electrode is supplied to a waveform shaping circuit 6 through an amplifier 17, and a pulse having a constant width and corresponding to one to a crest (or a trough) of an input signal is formed and given to a counter 7. An output signal of the counter 7 is displayed as the number of steps on a display device 11 through a driver 10.
