PURPOSE:To reduce the time required for retransmission by providing a transmission data buffer memory storing data group to be transmitted to a transmitter, selecting a data requested for retransmission from the data group stored in the said transmission data buffer when a receiver requests retransmission to retransmit the data. CONSTITUTION:Every time a data is received, a counter 12 counts up and an error detector 9 checks an error of the data. When data error is detected, the contents of the counter 12, i.e., the order of the data whose error is detected is stored in a control section 15, and whether or not the received data group has an error and the order of the data whose error is detected are informed. When an error is detected, the data of the order informed from a data reception control section 8 is selected from the data group stored in the transmission data buffer memory 10 by the control the transmission data buffer memory control section 11 via the control section 15 and retransmitted.
