PURPOSE:To enable to take out a horizontal synchronizing signal and a burst gate pulse independently by overlapping alternately and in reverse polarity, the horizontal and vertical synchronizing signals, and the burst gate pulse in a television receiver. CONSTITUTION:A synchronizing signal and a burst gate pulse, which are made by a synchronizing separator circuit 14 and a burst generation circuit 15, are overlapped alternately and in reverse polarity by a composite-synchronizing signal output circuit 16. A burst gate pulse can be obtained independently by slicing an earth potential 26 by a slice voltage 24, and a synchronizing pulse 23 can be obtained independently by slicing the earth potential 26 by a slice voltage 25.
