PURPOSE:To provide a dentifrice composition having improved stability and preservable for a long period without causing solidification, by adding a specific amount of a specific anticoagulant to a dentifrice composition containing dibasic calcium phosphate dihydrate, etc. as an abrasive and compounded with an alkali metal salt. CONSTITUTION:The objective dentifrice composition having improved extrusion property is obtained by adding (A) 0.1-1wt%, especially 0.2-0.8% tribasic magnesium phosphate as an anticoagulant to (B) a dentifrice compositon composed of (i) 20-60wt% abrasive comprising a mixture of dibasic calcium phosphate dihydride and dibasic calcium phosphate anhydride at a weight ratio of 20:1- 1:20 and (ii) <=1,000ppm, especially 600-1,000ppm of a monofluorophosphoric acid alkali metal salt. The solidification can be prevented only by the use of the above anticoagulant in an amount within the specified range. |
