The object of the invention is to substantially simplify the connecting of boom and mast, to make the connection more secure in the process and to provide the possibility of adjusting the boom to the desired height at any time and locking it there. This is achieved by the quick-acting locking catch located in the fore part of the boom and by the mast running rail fastened to the mast.
