It is known to arrange so-called car filters for the sorption of noxious gaseous substances in the boot behind the rear seats of a vehicle. As a result, the capacity of the boot is reduced in a disadvantageous fashion. In order to avoid this disadvantage, according to the invention it is proposed to utilise the free space provided in the floor of the boot for holding the spare wheel in such a way that a region of said free space serves to receive the car filter package arrangement (3) and another region serves to receive the spare wheel (4) which however is smaller in format in terms of its height than the tyres. <IMAGE>
