The invention relates to a hose of rubber or rubber-like material with thread-shaped reinforcing inserts, running at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the hose, for soaking rock or coal via a bore hole. The essential feature of this hose is that the thread angle of the reinforcing insert is less than 54 DEG in the centre of the hose part and greater than 54 DEG at the ends.
