PURPOSE:To improve riding comfortableness of a car by disposing an axial tension adjust pin between joints of a tripod equal velocity joint to soften resonance phenomenon of a car body. CONSTITUTION:The second pin guide hole 6 is formed at the end portion of a shaft S of a tripod equal velocity joint, and the first pin guide hole 5 is formed at the base portion of a housing H of the joint. An axial tension adjust pin body 7 has a spherical support portion 7a at one end and conical seats (e1), (e2) at the other end thereof. The spherical support portion 7a of the pin body 7 is supported in the second pin guide hole 6 of the shaft S through a spherical seat 9, and the conical seats (e1), (e2) of the pin body 7 are supported in the first pin guide hole 5 of the housing H through a sliding contact portion 10. An axial tension adjust spring 15 is fitted between the conical seats (e1), (e2) and a spring bearing brought into sliding contact with the end portion of the shaft S. |
