PURPOSE:To move back a waste toner container automatically at the time of jam processing, etc., by opening a front cover and releasing the position of the waste toner container from being regulated. CONSTITUTION:A holding frame 71 which holds the waste toner container 70 is supported on the shaft 73 of a main body rotatably, and is energized by a torsion spring to leave the main body side. Further, the front cover 80 is provided with a projection member 80b which regulates the container 70 at a prescribed position and a projection member 80a for a lock member 74. When the front cover 80 is closed, the waste toner container 70 is held at the prescribed position with the projection members 80a and 80b, but when the front cover is opened, the container is released and rotates forward automatically together with the frame 71. Consequently, the waste toner container 70 need not be moved back manually at the time of jam processing, so that the easy-to-use device is constituted. |
