The new stud shape has different cross-sections at the same time in the stud height/length. The result of this is that, in elongate bodies, two different lateral surface heights are formed via the inclined tread surface, the shorter or lower lying in front and thus supporting the rolling foot during running, in contrast to which the higher stud surface and wide side is the rearlying and via this large surface gains the greater starting force over the ground resistance, as soon as they act in action and during running, especially if they are mounted in the front foot row position.
