摘要 PURPOSE:To reconcile the stability and responsiveness of an engine provided with a device for controlling the amount of fuel in accordance with the averaged value engine loads, by altering the specific averaged time constants between the time of idling operation and the time other than the former. CONSTITUTION:An engine load detecting means detects the load condition of an engine, and an idling detecting means detects whether the engine is in its idle operating condition or not. A first averaging means calculates an averaged value of engine loads which are detected by the engine load detecting means, and a second averaging means calculates an averaged value of engine loads with a time constant which is larger than that of the averaged tim constant obtained by the first averaging means. A selecting means is actuated in accordance with a signal from the idling detecting means, and when it is the time of idling operation, the second averaging means calculating the amount of fuel. Further, it is other than the time of idling operation, the first averaging means calculates the amount of fuel. With this arrangement the stability and responsiveness may be reconciled with each other.
