SLIDING THROTTLE VALVE TYPE CARBURETOR

PURPOSE:To strengthen fuel suction force and to shorten the overall length by lapping a portion of airhorn section of Venturi section in sliding throttle valve type carburetor while arranging a fuel nozzle having a notch for producing upward air flow immediately in the downstream. CONSTITUTION:A needle 33 provided at the tip of sliding throttle valve 14 to be driven by a wire 31 will move up and down in main nozzle 32 while specific opening is set for the throttle valve 14. Suction air will pass through airhorn section 17, Venturi section 18 and suction path where the rear end of airhorn section 17 will extend from the front end face 20 of said valve 14 in Venturi section 18 to the downstream side while a notch for main nozzle is made continuously from the rear end 19 to the upstream side and a corresponding notch 38 is made for the throttle valve 14. Suction air will flow upward on the inclined face of main nozzle as shown by arrow 39. Consequently, the rising force is provided to suction fuel to strengthen the suction force while the throttle valve 14 can be made flat resulting in shortening of the overall length.
