To improve an articulated arrangement for foldable articles, especially rods for suspending laundry items in a drying cupboard and the like, the rods having a head part with a bore pivotable about a pivot pin and being arranged horizontally in a first position blockable by catch elements and vertically in a folded-down second position, it is proposed that the pivot pin has axially extending indentations (7, 19) with catch faces (6, 18), and the bore (30) designed as a long hole is made with a catch nose (9) having a catch counterface (8) and is equipped with a return element (10) keeping the catch faces (6, 8) in engagement, and that there is provided for releasing the catch elements from the blocking position a control slot (14) having an actuating button (16, 17) clearly identified by a signal colour. <IMAGE>
