A bearing strip (3), top strip (4) and support plates (5) are firmly attached, integrally or otherwise, to the supporting rear wall (2). The inner space is subdivided by plate-shaped partition elements (11-14) which are retained by adhesion of an end face to the rear wall (2). The width (b) and thickness (d) of parts (3, 4, 5) are identical, the longitudinal dimensions (from 11-14) being staggered. The bearing load of the horizontal partition elements is transmitted by vertical supports or partition elements (7, 13, 14) to the bearing strip (3). The adhesive connection of the partition elements to the rear wall is preferably procured by magnetism, for example by means of a sheet or layer of magnetised material attached to the rear wall and permanent magnets in the end face of the partition elements. Furthermore, laminated plastic bodies with small, finely distributed permanent magnets can be used on the rear wall and magnetisable parts on the partition elements. Dry adhesives with a long-lasting adhesive action, touch-and-close fastenings and the like are also suitable. The compartmentalisation can be changed by children in the playing age-group by replacement of the partition elements and adapted to what each compartment is currently intended to contain. <IMAGE>
