PURPOSE:To reduce vibration of an engine as well as the number of parts by arranging a circular rotor in a differently curved cylinder, and dividing the interior of the cylinder into two chambers connected to a high temperature part and a low temperature part to form a starling engine. CONSTITUTION:Inwardly curved sliding contact parts 2a are provided up and down in a differently curved cylinder 2, and always brought into contact with the outside circumferential surface of a rotor 3. A divided chamber B is partitioned into three rooms B1 to B3 by sliding plates 5, 6. A high temperature part 7 is connected with the upper room B1 and a low temperature part 8 connected with the lower room B3. Rotating force is imparted clockwise ''a'' to the sliding plates 5, 6. Likewise, the room A is divided by the sliding plates 5, 6 into three rooms A1 to A3. the high temperature part 7 is connected with the room A1 while the low temperature part 8 connected with the room A3. Rotating force is imparted clockwise ''a'' to the slide plates 5, 6.
