PURPOSE:To save time for attaching a layout sheet to a stencil paper and to improve running of the stencil paper during the stencil printing by punching holes to install the stencil paper on a plate cylinder of a printer simultaneously with the preparation of the stencil paper. CONSTITUTION:A punch block 7 consists of a die 7a and a punch 7b that make holes with the matching shapes to the protrusions on a plate cylinder; and a punch holder 7c; and a cam shaft 7d which makes holes in the stencil paper 3 by moving the punch 7b up and down; and a spring 7e which pushes back upward the punch 7b by rotation of the cam shaft 7. When the head of the stencil paper 3 is sensed by a photosenser 10, the rotation of sending-in rollers 4 and 4' and discharging rollers 8 and 8' is temporarily suspended and sending of the stencil paper 3 is stopped and the cam shaft 7d in the punch block 7 is rotated and the punch 7b makes a hole 3a into the stencil paper 3 with the die 7a through the punch holder 7c.
