A type carrier disc (1) made of plastic has on its front four projections (1c) which are each provided with a circular-arc wing (1d) coaxially with the central hole of the disc. In turn, each wing (1d) has a flange (1e) which rests inside the central hole of the disc. Said flanges (1e) are intended to engage, by elastic deformation of the wings (1d), in an annular recess (6) in the end (3a) of the machine shaft (3) on which the disc is mounted. <IMAGE>
