Read-off device for determining the packed cell volume of blood

The device can be placed on a rotor plate of a centrifuge which is fitted with centrifuged capillary tubes filled with blood. The read-off disc is provided with spiral percentage scale lines. A transparent upper part is rotatably mounted above the read-off disc and has a lens-like convexity on the side opposite the rotor plate. The upper part has on the outer edge an annular attachment which faces the rotor plate and which is supported in a centred fashion on the edge of the rotor plate.
