PURPOSE:To deliver a sentence of high quality with no complicated pitch processing by converting character codes into vocabulary codes to reduce greatly the data quantity and storing a character pattern shown every vocabulary into a vocabulary code table. CONSTITUTION:The data containing input vocabulary codes is supplied to a selector 32, and a character data part is supplied to a processor 35 and a vocabulary code development processor 30. A code analysis part 21 of the processor 30 indentifies an accessory code from a vocabulary code and retrieves the corresponding vocabulary code through a vocabulary code table 34. If an acces- sory code exists before the retrieved code, the table 34 is retrieved by the accessory code. Then the character pattern and its length are delivered to a buffer 31. The output of the buffer 31 is developed to a base buffer 24. A vocabulary expression type selecting function 33 is provided to the processor 30 to change freely the vocabulary expression. Thus it is possible to deliver a sentence of high quality with no complicated bit processing. |
