Moulding made of a forgeable titanium alloy prepared by way of cold extrusion and having a surface layer in the form of a metallic intermediate layer. The metallic intermediate layer consists of a ductile noble metal or ductile alloys. It was applied by ion plating. The moulding is used as a component for cement-free bone implants. The noble metal intermediate layer is arranged on the tissue side relative to the allocated bone. <IMAGE>
