In order to simplify a coupling for electric tools in all respects, which coupling enables the torque to be set, the invention provides a setting device for the torque, which setting device consists of an adjusting ring (26, 34, 38), guided on the gearing neck of the electric tool, and an actuator (25, 40) which can be operated by the adjusting ring (26, 34, 38) and, via pressure elements (24) guided in a wall (23, 42) of the gearbox (28), acts on the front side of the pressure disc (22) accommodating the tool-side end of the compression spring (21) (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
