PURPOSE:To obtain a heat exchanger with excellent heat exchanging performance by a method wherein box type heat exchanging body is composed, while heat exchange parts being installed in a box body which has filters at one side and the other side is covered with closed walls, and said box type plural heat exchange bodies are installed in a pressure vessel. CONSTITUTION:The box type heat exchanger body 6 is composed of the heat exchanger 11 being installed in a box body 15. In the heat exchanger part 11, many heat transfer fins 12 are layered with intervals, and U-type heat transfer tubes 13 are provided penetrating said heat transfer fins, and metallic hydride 14 is filled at the initial filling rate of 50%. Filters 18, 18 made of stainless steel with the mesh of 1-2mum are provided at both sides of the box body 15, and the box type heat exchanger body 7, 8 is provided with the heat exchanger parts 11 being installed in 2-3 rows. The heat exchanger bodies 6, 7, 8 of the above- mentioned composition are piled up in plural stages symmetry with respect to the vertical directions, and installed in the pressure vessel 1. Even if a trouble may happen, it does not extend to others, and the interchangeability is facilitated, because the box type heat exchange bodies are independent with each other. |
