PURPOSE:To attach a diaphragm to a body in an accurate manner, by pressing a lower end of the diaphragm forming a reservoir chamber forcibly to an outer circumference of the plunger body by means of a retainer, while caulking the retainer tight enough. CONSTITUTION:A plunger 43 forming a pivot for a rocker arm is installed inside a plunger body 41, and a high pressure chamber 42 is formed in position between the bottom part of the body 41 and the undersurface of the plunger 43. Then, a reservoir chamber 57 is formed on the outer circumference of a projecting part of the plunger 43 by means of a diaphragm 55 is hermetically fitted in the projecting part of the plunger 43, while the lower end of the diaphragm 55 is forcibly pressed to the body circumference through a retainer 45. In addition, the retainer 45 is further extended to the lower part and caulked directly by the body 41. With this constitution, the diaphragm 55 is securely attached to the body 41. |
