Plug-socket adapter

A plug-socket adapter has a housing (1) with a mains connection in the form of a plug (2), and has at least one load connection which is designed as a plug socket (4). The plug (2) and plug socket (4) are connected via an electrical lead in which there is an on/off switch. This switch is operated by means of a low-pressure pneumatic arrangement for which a pressure-medium connection in the form of a hose nipple (20) is provided. The low-pressure pneumatic arrangement may contain an operating bellows which operates with a plunger onto the on/off switch. An indicator lamp (18) indicates the respective switching state. The plug-socket adapter makes it possible for physically-disabled people to switch electrical apparatuses, mouth pressure being adequate for operation. <IMAGE>
