PURPOSE:To eliminate the residual washing liquid after the washing and consequently the clogging of washing nozzles by a structure wherein an opening is provided at the position lower than the position of the orifice part of the lowermost washing nozzle in a smoke exhauster equipped with a domestic washing function. CONSTITUTION:Washing liquid sucked up from a washing liquid storage container 27 by means of a pump 29 is lead through a piping path 31 so as to jet from respective washing nozzles in order to wash the inside wall 21 of a smoke exhauster main body and baffles 20, resulting in falling down into the washing liquid storage container 27 again for circulation. When the pump is stopped to end the washing, the washing liquid left in the whole piping path flows out of the respective washing nozzles in descending order until the washing liquid level reaches the orifice part 26 of the lowermost washing nozzle 24 and further flows out of the opening 32 located lower than the orifice 26. Consequently, no washing liquid is left in the vicinity of all the washing nozzles, resulting in enabling to completely prevent the washing nozzles from clogging due to the solid fats and oils, dusts and the like suspended in residual washing liquid.
