PURPOSE:To improve tightening reliability without an increase in the thickness wall of a hollow shaft, by a method wherein in a device which tightens an object to be tightened, such as gear, against the hollow shaft by means of a wedge effect tightening tool, a reinforcing body is interposed all the way through to the inner surface, positioned facing the tightening tool, of the hollow shaft. CONSTITUTION:When a gear 2 is tightened against a hollow shaft 1 by means of a wedge effect tightening tool 3, a reinforcing body 4 is placed to the inner surface, positioned facing said tightening tool 3, of the hollow shaft 1. An inner force, produced by the tightening tool 3, is received by the reinforcing body 4, and this prevents deformation, stress concentration, and fatigue strength from occurring at the part, positioned facing the tightening tool 3, of the hollow shaft 1. This naturally generates a high tightening force and provides a high-reliable tightening part. |
