On the end edge (6) of the plough blade is fitted an extra blade (2) pivotable around a bearing. This supplementary blade is located on a shaft (8) fixed in the plough blade and extending at right-angles to the main direction of the latter. The extra blade comprises partly an outer part located at a distance from the shaft with an outer end edge (21) and a lower working edge (20) which in the lowered position is aligned with the main blade (1) working edge (3) so that the two edges are in simultaneous contact with the ground. It also comprises an inner part nearer to the shaft with a working edge which constitutes an extension of the outer part working edge and an upper edge directed so that a triangular area is formed. |
