<p>PURPOSE:To make direction width constant in a desired band without aligning the centers of arrays by adjusting the phases of plural similar receiver arrays which shift in array center to one reference point, and weighting array outputs by a frequency. CONSTITUTION:When basic arrays L and H which shift in array center are coupled together linearly, signals of receiving elements 111-11M and 121-12M of the arrays L and H are multiplied by weights W1-WM by preamplifiers 131-13M, and 141-14M and sent to phase modifiers 15 and 16, which performs delay compensation on the basis of the array center of the array L and send the results fo filters 17 and 18. Further, filters 171-17N, and 181-18N multiply the inputs by a coefficient of coupling and supply the results to adders 191-19N, which sums up both outputs and outputted their outputs from output terminals 201-20N. Consequently, the restriction condition of the weight distribution, etc., of the arrays L and H is relaxed.</p> |
