PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition for a low-calorific sweetener, having improved after-taste, and giving a sweetness similar to sucrose, by adding sodium chloride having sufficiently low concentration not to give salty taste to the palate to aspartame at a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by compounding aspartame to sodium chloride at a weight ratio of 1:(0.5-10), preferably 1:(1-6), and setting the concentration of the sodium chloride to a sufficiently low level not to give salty taste to the palate (preferably <=0.05g/dl). |
