PURPOSE:To obtain a porous carbon plastic electrode with no deterioration in efficiency due to the over-voltage by kneading a high molecular compound, carbon black, and an extract and extracting and removing the extract after molding. CONSTITUTION:A high molecular compound such as polyethylene and carbon black are mixed at a ratio of about 100pts.wt. to 20-80pts.wt., and about 20- 80% of an extract such as dioctyl phthalate is added. This mixture is kneaded and molded under heat. Next, the extract is extracted by means of a solvent such as ethyl alcohol, and a fine porous carbon plastic electrode is obtained. Accordingly, the electrode performance can be improved without changing the nature of carbon plastic. |
