PURPOSE:To permit easy placing of an original by the operator by displaying graphically the size of copying paper, the correct size of an original calculated from a copying magnification and the position where the original is placed on platen glass by lighting of a display panel. CONSTITUTION:The generation of a trouble in a copying machine as well as the kind of the trouble and the method of eliminating the trouble are graphically displayed in the lower part of a display panel 51. The position and size to be placed with an original are graphically displayed as if said position and size are directly displayed on the platen glass by selective lighting of line-shaped or dot-shaped segments utilizing liquid crystals, light emitting diodes, electroluminescence, etc. in the upper part 52. The size of copying paper is announced by providing projections to a cassette contg. said paper and actuating selectively the microswitch group provided in the cassette insertion part of the main unit of the copying machine by said projections. |
