<p>Woolgrease or lanolin is fractionated into non-polar lanolin wax and polar lanolin wax by passing a solution of woolgrease or lanolin in a non-polar solvent through a column of an adsorption medium and evaporating the passed solution to recover the non-polar lanolin wax. The non-polar lanolin wax exhibits non-allergenic properties.</p> |
