PURPOSE:To make a viewer recognize a stereoscopic picture by executing a projection by overlapping a pair of slides on the same screen by a pair of projectors. CONSTITUTION:A pair of slides are projected to the same screen 7 so as to generate the same parallax as the case they are seen with two nakes eyes, by a pair of slide projectors 6A, 6B to which polarizing filters 5A, 5B whose polarizing directions are different from each other are added. As for the polarizing filters 5A, 5B, usually, those which are different by 90 degrees in the polarizing direction are used. Also, the screen 7 is formed by applying a silver paint in which an aluminum powder is mixed, to the front of a plate or a cloth so as not to generate a disorder in a polarization characteristic of a light. A viewer 8 sees a video on the screen 7 by putting on polarizing spectacles. In this way, a stereoscopic picture is recognized by seeing it through a polarizing filter having the same characteristic as the filter 5A by one eye, and through a polarizing filter having the same characteristic as the filter 5B by the other eye. |
