PURPOSE:To flatten frequency characteristics and to shorten a measuring time, by performing measurement under a specific condition by using a Michelson type Fourier transform spectroscope and a Golay cell detector. CONSTITUTION:The light of a mercury lamp 16 passed through a Michelson type Fourier transform spectroscope while the feed speed of a movable mirror 11 is set to about 0.3cm/sec is passed through air and the transmitted spectrum is detected by a Golay cell 15 as a light detector. Measurement is performed under a condition of vnu<15sec<-1> (wherein v is the feed speed of the movable mirror of the spectroscope 17 and nu is the upper limit of a measured wave number region). By this method, a measuring apparatus, wherein the spectrum is obtained within a short time and high reliability is obtained by a simple apparatus and frequency characteristics are flat and high sensitivity is provided, can be obtained. |
