发明名称 WATER-RESISTANT ADHESIVE MOLDED ARTICLE FOR REINFORCING OPTICAL FIBER JUNCTION
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a junction reinforcing member high in initial strength unlowerable in strength even when it is immersed into water, by applying a mixture contg. a silane-deriv. and a tertiary amine to a thermoplastic polymer molded article through coating or the like. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin to be used for the main body of this adhesive molded article, any resin many be used so long as it has at least one hydroxyl and/or carobxylic group. Silane derivs. having isocyanate groups to be generally used here are represented by the general formula: R1-Si-(OR2)3 in which R1 has a hydrocarbon group having isocyanate groups, and OR2 is an organic hydrolyzable group. As the tertiary amine, triethylene diamine, dimethylethanolamine, etc. are used. These adhesives 5 are filled into an adhesive tube 2 in a heat shrinkable tube 1 or a tension resistant stainless steel tube 1.
